The UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu on May 09, 2025, issued a Declaration of Special Allowance under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
The revised the Special Allowance under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, increasing it by ₹10.50 per day effective from April 1, 2025. The updated minimum daily wages across all scheduled employments are:
Unskilled: ₹441.00 (Basic) + ₹45.50 = ₹486.50
Semi-Skilled: ₹452.00 + ₹45.50 = ₹497.50
Skilled: ₹462.00 + ₹45.50 = ₹507.50
Employers must compute monthly wages by multiplying daily wages with 26 and pay arrears from April 1, 2025 accordingly.
